POE'S IN THE HOUSE!

Poe One's teaching method, Each One Teach One, systematically analyses the basics of Breaking via a structured approach to building sound fundamental skills. He is considered a master at teaching the floorwork principles of Breaking. He is also an expert at analyzing rhythm and movement and enlightening his students about the integral relationship between Breaking and music.

He has over 29 years of Bboyin experience and he's coming to Auckland to share his 29 chapters that he has developed over his breaking career.

The dates of the workshops are as follows:

Each workshop will cost:

$35 each workshop pre registration
$45 each workshop walk in's

Pre registration is ideal as we will only take in walkins if the space of the venue allows.

In the US I throw a circle jam one a month with a friend of mine called Steady Rockin. Its all about the circles with everybody just getting down. We dim the lights, keep the music playing and who ever Steady Rocks the most that night wins. Its really not about who is the best or who kills it the most that night, its about who is really dancing because the music is in them. They just gotta get down! Its about looking in there eyes and seeing that they are no longer there, Its The Floor,The Music and You!! Thats why its called Steady Rockin.

We have been doing it since 2006 in LA and now I want to bring it to Auckland (New Zealand). This event really helped the scene in LA grow on the spiritual side and freedom side. It also made the cats stop focusing on how much was the comps, prize money etc. This jam is a jam just to get down!! Cats can battle freely, no judges, no time limits, just them!! It's gonna be ill!! It's gonna be a New Years celebration, so let's get the cat's hyped up to start the new year!!
